Again welcome and thanks for your visit. Today I am blessed to be living my dream in the heart of the world’s entertainment industry, Los Angeles, California, and sharing it with my three incredible and beautiful ladies; my best friend and wife Allison and our two amazing little girls.
I am one of three siblings, all of us Los Angeles natives born at Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica to aviation industry pioneer Dominic P. Renda, Sr. for whom I am named, and our super Mom, supermodel, 1959 Ms. Maryland / Ms. USA runner-up, Patricia V. Renda. My older sister, my younger brother and I have always been very close and remain so today. Led by our fearless leader/sister, our winters were always packed with sports participation and our summers spent at the beach, in our pool, or traveling, and always with lots of evening backyard star gazing. As partners in crime we were frequently captured on our parents Super 8 hamming it up, at times causing havoc, but always having fun.
Driven by a lifelong passion for performance and the arts, with the completion of my Bachelors of Art degree from the California State University Long Beach, I found myself drawn to the San Francisco Bay Area. It is there that I founded Media Buzz, a professional services firm providing design, branding, Web strategy and technology consulting. While my pursuits in acting and modeling took a temporary back seat, my pursuits in design and technology flourished. A representative sampling of Media Buzz clients included Apple Computer, Netscape, IBM, Lotus, and numerous BBDO/Omnicom, True North Communications and Interpublic Group agencies such as Modem Media, Poppe Tyson, TBWA\Chiat\Day, and Studio Archetype, just to name a few. Ultimately I joined the revolutionary web design software technology company NetObjects initially as an Evangelist and ultimately earning the responsibility of Vice President for North American Sales. Attracted by both the technology and team, my responsibilities at NetObjects provided me with global traveling and speaking opportunities, presenting to a range of large groups and C-level industry leaders on the topics of design, the web and the related technologies. Upon request, I have applied my expertise on behalf of numerous corporations world-wide
Most exciting and meaningful for me was meeting and marrying my wife, who is my best friend and lifetime love. We met, fell in love, married and bought our first home together just a short stroll from the water in the little Northern California surf city of Santa Cruz where we started our family. We now reside in Los Angeles and enjoy time spent in San Diego and Northern California when possible. In Los Angeles I am living my dream of acting in feature films and network television, playing and growing with my young family and enjoying the work in all that I do.
